Shahab Fard
Shahab has been building and renovating houses since 2009 in the Atlanta area. His interest in real estate started as a child, helping his architect father draft plans and growing up in construction. He spent 13 years in mortgage banking and has extensive knowledge on a renovations impact on value to the market. In May 2016, he opened up his building skill set to the public creating his own .
The Renovation Spot projects take Shahab all across Atlanta to the metro area and to Blue Ridge. When he’s not working or at the gym, which is rare, you can find him in the mountains enjoying cabin life with Amanda, and their fur baby, Bella.
Walter Fitzgerald
Walter Fitzgerald grew up in Panama as a military brat. It was an incredible experience that allowed him to immerse himself in different cultures and encounter things most people never have the chance to see.
After graduating high school in 1994, Walter followed in his father's footsteps and joined the US Navy. He entered the Naval Special Warfare Community, spending his career in the rivers and jungles of South and Central America conducting counter-drug training and Foreign Internal Defense missions.
Upon leaving the service in 2000, Walter moved to Florida and launched a career as an independent agent for global tile manufacturers. After a successful 26-year tenure, his life took an unexpected but welcome turn. In 2024, he met Shahab Fard, and the two quickly became close friends. By 2026, Walter partnered with Shahab to found The Builder Spot. Walter brings the motivation, discipline, and work ethic of his military background, combined with decades of business savvy, to the builder world.
